Privacy policy

In short: Lettkeep does not collect your data. What you enter stays encrypted on your own iPhone, iPad and Mac. There is no Lettkeep account, no server that holds your records, no analytics and no advertising, and nothing about you or your tenants is ever sold or shared.

Who we are

Lettkeep is made by Nicholas Xerri, an independent developer in Malta ("we", "us"). For anything about privacy, email support@lettkeep.com or write to P.O. Box 3, Mellieħa Post Office, Triq il-Madonna ta' Fatima, Mellieħa, Malta.

What stays on your device

Everything you enter stays on your devices, in an encrypted file that only the app can open after Face ID, Touch ID or your device passcode. That includes properties, leases, tenants' names, rent, extras, policies, certificates, suppliers, notes and documents.

• It is not sent to us or to anyone else.
• Its key is kept in your device's Keychain, on that device only.
• Deadlines, rent increases and tax estimates are worked out on your device.

iCloud sync and backups

If you turn on iCloud sync, your records are encrypted on your device before they are stored in your own private iCloud space, so neither Apple nor we can read them. Backups you make are encrypted with a passphrase you choose and saved where you pick, such as iCloud Drive, Google Drive or a USB drive. Those services store the encrypted file under their own terms; they cannot open it.

Your tenants' data

You decide what you record about your tenants, and you are responsible for it under data protection law (GDPR). Because it stays on your devices, we never receive it and cannot see, process or share it. Lettkeep helps you keep only what you need and delete it when a lease ends.

Purchases

Lettkeep Pro is bought through the App Store. Apple handles the payment and tells the app only whether Pro is unlocked. We receive sales totals by country from Apple, never your name or card details.

Support messages

If you email us, we use your message and address only to answer you, and delete them within 12 months. A support report you choose to send contains no records or personal details.

This website

lettkeep.com uses no cookies, no analytics and no third-party content. It is served by Cloudflare, which keeps short-lived technical logs (such as IP addresses) to deliver and protect the site.

Your rights

You can ask us what we hold about you (normally only support emails), and ask us to correct or delete it. You can also complain to the Information and Data Protection Commissioner in Malta (idpc.org.mt).

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be here with a new date. The app will never start collecting data without asking you first.
